So, your role is that of a magician, of one of three disciplines: Healing and smiting Light magic, destructive and powerful Dark magic, and balanced nature magic. Each consists of both offensive and defensive spells, which i will trust you to make on your own. Think spells, not powers. I.e, no firebending or super speed. A clear start and stop is needed. A spell requires one of the following to be cast:
Magic words (the more words, the stronger the spell. Fastest to cast, but weakest in power.)
Rituals (Be creative. The more extensive the ritual, the stronger, slowest to cast, but the strongest spells.)
Elixirs/Potions (same rule, more items, more power, but these have the additional problem of needing to be mixed, so mixing during battle may be difficult, however, unlike others, these can be prepared before battle and horded.)
Runes (Write down words on the ground, paper, etc, same rule as the others. Faster than rituals, stronger than words.)

You can know two of the ways to cast spells, but only one discipline.

There are three races on this world. They include:

Elves: Slim, fast, agile, and the best at casting spells dealing with runes. Their hands are delicate and adept, and they can generally write and play instruments faster than other races, without making a mistake.

Fairies: Gentle, light, and of course, have the ability to fly. They are about five feet tall, shorter than most humans and nearly all elves, but have the innate ability to tap into the natural world to improve their spells. They will find it easier to create elixirs during battle, as they can replace an ingredient with its magical essence.

Humans: As with our world, they have spread across the planet and have forged nations across it. While the elves have two nations, the fairies four, humans have eighteen independent nations, and several more puppet kingdoms. Humans have mastered the art of rituals, and have found ways to substitute some objects for others needed in rituals, allowing them to carry fewer items onto the battlefield.

The story will begin with the tournament. The battles will take place between teams of three. Ideally, this would mean three rpers against three rpers, but if you feel you can play a whole team, by all means, go for it. The different battles will be fought on different arenas, altered by magic for different terrain to fight on.

Now then! Your character sheet needs to include:
Name:
Gender:
Discipline:
Race: Elf, human, or fairy.
Major Spells: Describe about three of your strongest spells. Describe what they do, and how they are cast. As for simple spells, such as a fireball of gust of wind, you don't have to list. Basic spells do not need to be listed, but make sure you have an idea what you use.

Once I finally come up with a character I like, I'll post a sheet. Too many ideas in my head. I'll think about it at work tomorrow. Hopefully by tomorrow night I can post.

Name: Jelenn Rakka
Gender: Male
Discipline: Light Magic
Race: Fairy.
Major Spells: 1. Blades of Pure Light: Jelenn's swords glow brightly with magic, making them sharper, stronger, longer, lighter, and brighter.
2.  Command The Zenith: Jelenn brings light with the intensity of the sun, down in front of him. This can blind opponents temporarily.
3. The Wind's Resolve: Jelenn teleports a distance, a quick flash of light announcing his exit and entrance.
Bio/history: Jelenn was born a slave in a small community, owned by humans, and taught to fight from a young age. His captors taught him the ways of the blade, learning how to fight deftly, using his speed and size to outspeed his opponents. In order to teach him to fight against elves and humans, they bound his wings to his back. When he reached his teens, he discovered his talent for magic, and kept it a secret. He trained without his captor's knowledge, and became quite adept at his craft, learning how to combine magic with his swords. When he turned 18, Jelenn decided it was time to leave. But he wasn't going to leave without a parting gift. He walked into the community's armoury, and simply stole the two most prized weapons: Freedom and Justice. After chuckling at the irony of the situation, Jelenn slaughtered the guards. With his magic, unbound wings, his two new swords and his training, the guards didn't stand a chance. After, Jelenn set out on the world with only one thing on his mind: "I'm a free man. Whatever comes next, I choose."

((Kinda tired, story isn't written that well, not gonna change it tonight. Just try and look past the more obvious cliches. Razz))

Your sheet is tentatively accepted, but you need to work out how your spells are used. What do they need, which spellcasting style do they use, etc.
