Ace was too far in the bottle to truly acknowledge her surprise at his movements. Though a moment ago she hadn't moved for fear of rejection, she now saw absolutely nothing out of the ordinary when his lips found hers. It was just.. right. Why wouldn't he do that? They were supposed to do that, and really should more often. She kept her hands on his cheeks, holding him tenderly as she kissed him back and parted her lips for his tongue. Things were getting passionate a lot faster than they had last time, when he 'prepped her for Romania' on the couch in his home. And that was saying something.

She stood with him, curling her arms up around his neck as he scooped her up and started stumbling around. It wasn't long before he knocked into the bed, since that had been right behind where he sat at the table. There was really much else of a place to go in the room they had, but thankfully when they fell, she had nothing but a soft bed at her back and a warm Marce half covering her front. She tilted her head at him, taking the momentary break in their kisses to register what he had said.

"For how long?" she asked softly, wondering if this was all going to be a dream in the morning. She didn't want to think about it. Instead, she pulled him up the bed a little and softly kissed his neck.

It was going a lot smoother than he expected it to. He had expected for her to put up some sort of fight, for her to tell him about how wrong it was to do that sort of thing before a big mission like tomorrow. Or maybe how having a simple lay in the bed will heed unwanting results or massive consequences. Either she would fight against him with her words or with her actual body. Kick, push, and struggle as he trailed the line of her shoulder blade, letting his nose rub the top of her ear while she lavished his neck with kisses. But no. Ace did not struggle against him a single bit, letting him do what he wished to her, and maybe even what she wished from him in return.

Feebily, Marce pulled his face free from the stringy locks of her hair in time to her question. The way she returned to her kissing made him wonder if she meant it to be rhetorical, but knowing Ace, she would remind him of his lack of answer sooner or later. His head warm and fuzzy with the wine’s effects, Marce took her cheeks full into the palm of his hand.

“Wait and find out.” It was such a drunk-person saying. He was surprised she didn’t burst into laughter at it, but he could honestly not think of anything to say. There was no reason to be sweet and sappy, and even less reason to be blunt. Instead, he searched thorugh the vagueness and the intoxication for the right response, and that’s what he came up with. Marce held her close while her lips trailed his skin, coaxing deep exhales from his throat. She needed this.

And yet, Marce could not hide from his own decency. Every time she inhaled, each time she exhaled, and with every shudder of her tiny body under his, Marce felt need wrap inside him. Need. That's what it was. He needed her. So, he kissed her cheek, lips pressing against the side of her face, fingers probing her cheek as he grasped her face, full in his hands. He kissed the side of her chin, then her mouth, lips full around her as more need sprung inside him. Everything about what he was doing had become a hot, steady, need. He trailed the inside of her bottom lip with his tongue before diving into her mouth, which she allowed him to do, apparently.

It was getting worse. Ace locked his lips but did not forget about the other parts of her body. With a free hand, he allowed his fingers to go to destinations that, in any other situation, she would have smacked him if he went. For starters, he always wanted to hold her by the hips, sternly, claiming her for himself. All of the times she would lean on one hip and tell him how much of an ass he was, he wondered, wished, pondered about how it would be to grasp the luscious curve in his palm. To feel the dent in her smooth skin until it would swell up the farther his hands traveled down her body. Oh, how good it felt to finally do it, and with no repercussions.

Wait and find out...

Alright.

It was an answer that Ace was oddly okay with. Perhaps it was merely the alcohol in her system, or maybe it was something else. She felt a fierce desire to claim Marce as hers and hers alone, and had proven that - at least to herself - on the plane ride here when she lost it over some airheaded flight attendant. However, she also felt hesitant, not wanting to get too close. She felt.. skittish. If he moved too suddenly, she wanted to fall back, to slam her mental walls back into place and punch him right in the manberries to distract him.

She pushed the thoughts away, letting them fade away in the drunken darkness of her mind. Her attention was wholly on Marce, focusing on the feel of his warm hands as they brushed her skin and grasped her cheeks, keeping her in place or moving her wherever he wanted. She went along with basically everything, giving him a passionate string of kisses the second that she got the chance. Oh, that tongue.. She shivered a bit, her arms curling up around his neck as his hands held her hips in place. Secure. That's how she felt. She relaxed, her hands sliding down his back to his waistband.

Time to play.

BRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!

No. No no no.

The chiming of Marce's cell was the loudest thing in Romania. The sound of the tone coupled with the vibration against the mahogany desk it lay bounced around every wall in the room, returning to a high pitched ringing in his ear. The effect caused him to him to stop working his tongue for a second, his head buzzing with both the noise and the wine.

"--'ont lissen to it," he murmured against her lips, knowing that she would probably go goody goody mode and demand for him to see who was trying to contact the Op. It was that fear that made him grab her closer, much like a child and their blanket. With Ace to his chest securely, the kiss had to be stopped. He was going to make her understand that he wasn't going anywhere. The cell could have rang to the heavens and back. Marce Jove was keeping her there unless she said otherwise.

Or maybe even if she did say otherwise.

Opening one brilliant blue eye, he smiled when the phone rang again, a sweet, innocent smile.

"'Sokay," he slurred, running a single hand down her back, enjoying the feel of the skin that was exposed in some places. "I'll call 'em back. Jus' not right now."
